What is Public Power? Every time a City of Perry customer pays their utility bill, flips a switch, or shops locally, they are doing more than just powering their home - they are powering their community.
In a public power community like Perry, utility revenue is reinvested back into the community. That means support for services we rely on and enjoy - like our local parks and cemetery, fire and ambulance, police, municipal airport, library, streets, and more. Public power is local people working together to meet local needs.
Having crews nearby means faster response times and reliable service. When the power goes out or issues arise, our team is right here and ready to respond. Visit OurLocalPower.org to learn more
