We’ve collected about 90% of surveys needed. We need 10% more to reach our goal. Please take a moment to complete the survey by November 7, 2025 — your feedback makes a difference! https://survey.alchemer.com/s3/8407012/e137c65bff7a

At about 9 a.m., water will be shut off from Quail Creek north — between 6th St. and 9th St. (includes Lakeview and Pheasant Ridge addition) to repair a major water leak.
Repairs are expected to take approximately 3–5 hours. Thank you for your patience as crews work to restore service as quickly as possible.
Exciting news…roadwork has begun on 4th Street (between Ivanhoe and Kaw) and 9th Street (between South Boundary and Hwy 77). These areas are being milled first and then smoothed.
Once the smoothing process is complete, the roads will be open to traffic — and we encourage the community to drive on them, as this helps pack the surface and prepare it for asphalt.
After allowing time for proper packing, our street crew will begin laying asphalt. Both projects are expected to be completed within the next few weeks, weather and other projects permitting.
As mentioned previously, the order in which streets are improved depends on a variety of factors and is not always based solely on which streets are in the worst condition. Please know that the worst ones will be addressed as the improvement plan continues. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve our streets!

We had an amazing turnout with over 1,000 attendees at this year’s Perry Planes and Cars event! It was a fantastic day filled with fun for all ages. A huge thank you to our employees who helped make the event run smoothly and to our sponsors whose support made it all possible. Special thanks to Airport Manager Terence Hulet for his hard work and dedication to this event — improvements and additions for next year’s event are already in the works!

Calling All Perry Residents! OMPA is conducting a Residential Survey for City of Perry electric customers. If you live in Perry and the City of Perry provides your electricity, we want your input! OMPA 2025 Residential Satisfaction Survey.

What is Public Power? Every time a City of Perry customer pays their utility bill, flips a switch, or shops locally, they are doing more than just powering their home - they are powering their community.
In a public power community like Perry, utility revenue is reinvested back into the community. That means support for services we rely on and enjoy - like our local parks and cemetery, fire and ambulance, police, municipal airport, library, streets, and more. Public power is local people working together to meet local needs.
Having crews nearby means faster response times and reliable service. When the power goes out or issues arise, our team is right here and ready to respond. Visit OurLocalPower.org to learn more
