Perry Lake July 4th Fireworks Show Update:
As you make plans to celebrate at Perry Lake this Fourth of July, please be aware that the lake is currently above normal levels and the ground remains very soft due to recent wet conditions.
Because of these conditions, crews have been unable to mow all of the areas that are normally prepared for the holiday. There is also an increased risk of vehicles becoming stuck in soft ground.
Please use caution when traveling or parking, and whenever possible, stay on established roads and designated parking areas. Have a fun and safe Independence Day!

At this time, we do not have an estimated restoration time, as our crews are still working to locate the sources of the outage.

Due to heavy vegetation, some damaged lines or equipment can be difficult to spot from the roadside. If you see a downed tree, damaged power line, or anything else that appears related to the outage, please report it immediately by calling 580-336-4100.

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as our crews work to safely restore power to everyone. We will provide another update as soon as more information becomes available.

As the water system improvement project nears completion, the Street Department will soon begin work on 8th Street from Fir Street to Locust Street.
The attached map provides an overview of the streets currently being considered for improvement. Several of these areas also align with other planned infrastructure projects to help maximize efficiency and long-term value for the community.
We recognize that additional streets throughout Perry are in need of attention, and we remain committed to addressing those areas as resources and project schedules allow. For now, this map highlights the streets currently planned for focus during Fiscal Year 2027. As work is completed, additional streets will be evaluated and incorporated into future improvement plans.
Please note that all project plans are tentative and subject to change based on funding availability, weather conditions, utility needs, unforeseen circumstances, and other factors that may affect scheduling and priorities.
