Yes — There’s an App for That!
Each year, the City of Perry Water Department collects multiple water samples as part of our ongoing compliance with Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. One of these samples is scheduled quarterly during the months of February, May, August, & November. The Water Department will be collecting May samples the week of the 18th–22nd, 2026. Following protocol, they will be flushing fire hydrants on 15th St, Wakefield, Rose Terrace, 9th St, & 7th St before collecting the samples. This allows them to obtain a representative sample of the water moving through the system, as well as remove sediment that can settle in lines over time. During flushing customers may notice a temporary reduction in water pressure and water running along curb or street from open hydrants. We appreciate your patience & understanding during these periods.
Planned Electrical Outage Notice: Some customers in the area of Cedar Street and East Boundary may experience a temporary electrical outage beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026. The outage is expected to last approximately 4 hours and is necessary to allow crews to replace a utility pole in the area.
The survey deadline is TOMORROW, May 15th! We’ve received 159 responses so far, and we’re hoping to reach our goal of at least 250 responses before the deadline. WATER PROJECT UPDATE:
Crews are currently working on Fir Street between 5th and 8th as part of the ongoing water project improvements.
Once work on Fir is completed, crews plan to transition to Elm Street, beginning at 7th Street and working westward.
Residents in these areas may experience temporary water interruptions or low water pressure while work is underway.
Please use caution around workers and equipment and expect possible traffic disruptions. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these important infrastructure improvements continue.
Another opportunity to clean up properties and help keep all of Noble County looking its best! The Noble County Commissioners are providing five roll-off dumpster locations for City of Perry residents and all Noble County rural residents to dispose of unwanted items. NO appliances, tires, or paint, please.
Two roll-offs will be located inside the Perry city limits:
• South side of the Armory — 309 N. 14th
• 400 Kaw — empty lot at 4th & Kaw
Three additional roll-offs will be located outside the city limits:
• 104 E. Fir
• Noble County Fairgrounds — 1 Ivanhoe
• District 3 Shop — 419 S. Boundary
In order for the cleanup program to run smoothly, please do not overfill the roll-off dumpsters. If a roll-off is full, please choose another location with available space. Thank you for helping keep Noble County clean! This cleanup program is funded through grant dollars awarded to Noble County and is not funded by local tax revenue.

Our parks are places for families, kids, and the whole community to enjoy. To help keep them safe and welcoming for everyone, smoking and tobacco use are not permitted in park areas. The City of Perry parks crew has noticed cigarette butts being left on the ground, which can be harmful—especially to small children who may pick them up or put them in their mouths. Please do your part by respecting the no smoking or tobacco policy. This includes no spitting of chewing tobacco on the ground. Properly dispose of any waste outside of park areas. We’re thrilled that Perry is one of just four Oklahoma cities set to welcome a new Amazon facility soon! With a population of only 5,000, we’re truly “punching above our weight,” as Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell has stated when talking about Perry.
For perspective the other 3 cities are:
• Broken Arrow: 100,000 residents
• McAlester: 18,000 residents
• Weatherford: 12,000 residents
The new facility is being constructed just west of BMAC and Crownline Arena, right off I-35. Perry might be the smallest in size but what a big impact for our community and for Oklahoma. Exciting times are ahead—stay tuned for all the amazing things coming our way, its only the beginning!

The lights around the downtown square will remain flashing throughout the weekend for the Perry Chamber of Commerce SpringFest event.
Street repairs are officially back underway for 2026, with a goal of completing 15 blocks by the end of the year, they are already 33% of the way there. To get back into the swing of things, work began in a lower-traffic area along South 9th Street and will soon move to Homeland Alley. With water infrastructure projects now progressing, additional streets in those areas will also be ready for repair. More updates and details will be shared as they become available.
