Part-time Animal Control Officer

Part-time Dispatcher

1.   The primary function of the E-911 Communications Center is responding to requests for police/fire service from any citizen(s), and from all other agencies requesting service.

2.   Dispatchers record all requests for service as a management work indicator.

A.  Recording calls for service - dispatchers will record all calls for service with the minimum following information:

This is a sedentary job that requires the individual to sit for long periods of time, use computers, telephones, and other office related items/duties.

Must be able to work under stressful situations associated with E911 dispatching.  May be required to work extended hours.  Must be able to express ideas clearly and concisely, both orally, and in writing.

Required to respond to and provide resolution to E911 technical issues within the E911 Communication Center.

Must be able to integrate with Emergency Management operations that may include large scale emergency operations that may involve life or property.

The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and representatives of other agencies within the jurisdiction of the Noble County E911 Communication’s Center as well as the general public.
