Police Dispatcher

City of Perry accepting applications for full time Police Dispatcher. Primary function is responding to requests for police/fire service from citizens and other agencies. Requirements include: sitting for long periods of time, computer and telephone proficiency, and ability to work under stressful situations.

Baseball Complex Manager

City of Perry accepting applications for BMAC Baseball Complex Manager. Responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance. Requirements include experience with youth baseball programs and tournaments; extensive knowledge of sports field maintenance, irrigation system, and chemical application; ability to supervise, meet deadlines, develop promotions, and identify opportunities. Must be available to work holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed. Valid Oklahoma driverís license and state pesticide applicator license required. Bachelorís degree in related field preferred.

Water and Sewer Maintenance and Operations

City of Perry accepting applications for Water and Sewer Department Maintenance and Operations Personnel. Duties include repair, operation, and maintenance of water plant and distribution system, sewer plant and collection system, and related equipment. Requirements include ability to operate equipment, lift/carry 50 lbs., work from ladders and in confined spaces, perform chemical testing, and to wear a respirator as required. Must have high school diploma or GED and valid driverís license. Ability to obtain Oklahoma State Class D Water and Class D Wastewater licenses required. Successful applicant must be able to work nights, holidays, weekends, and emergencies, and in all weather environments.

Journeyman Lineman

City of Perry is now accepting applications for Journeyman Lineman. Outstanding benefits include insurance; longevity pay; paid vacation, sick and holidays; and generous retirement plan. Duties include install, change, transfer, move and remove poles, pole line hardware, guys, transformers, lightning arresters, streetlight equipment, energized conductors, insulators, conduit, capacitor bank controls and any and all forms of electrical material and accessories utilized in the construction, maintenance, and operation of electric circuits. Requirements include: Journeyman certification, Class B CDL, high school graduate/GED, and ability to work in physically demanding conditions and unfavorable weather conditions while handling dangerous equipment. Successful applicant must be able to work nights, holidays, weekends, and emergencies. Twenty minute emergency response time preferred.
