INVITATION FOR BIDS




The CITY OF PERRY, OKLAHOMA, will receive Bids for Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project referenced above until_3:00 PM (Central Standard Time) on the 30th day of November, 2011, at Perry City Hall located at 622 Cedar Street in Perry, Oklahoma 73077 at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Bids are invited upon the several items and quantities of work as follows:

APPROX. 500 LF 8” SANITARY SEWER AND TWO (2) MANHOLES BETWEEN 6TH & 7TH STREETS BEGINNING AT THE MANHOLE BETWEEN JACKSON AND IVANHOE STREETS AND EXTENDING TO THE SOUTH APPROXIMATELY 500-FT.

Contract documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are on file at the office of MONSOON CONSULTANTS at 410-A North Independence in Enid, OK 73701 (520)-360-5657.

Copies of the Contract Documents may be purchased for $20.00 from MONSOON CONSULTANTS for each set of documents so obtained.

A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of CITY OF PERRY, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value) or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid shall be submitted with each Bid.

This project is to be partially financed by a grant through the Rural Economic Action Plan (REAP) program.

Bidders are instructed not to include City Sales Tax in their bid. The City of Perry will designate the successful bidder as an agen for the city and thereby exempt from City Sales Tax.

Prior to the awarding of the Contract, the CITY OF PERRY may defer its decision for a period not to exceed (60) days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
